Standards of Performance for Stationary Gas Turbines

Applicability to natural gas industry

Applies to any stationary gas turbine used to provide power to extract crude oil/natural gas from the earth or to move crude oil/natural gas, or products refined from these substances through pipelines. Specifically, it applies to all stationary gas turbines with a heat input at peak load equal to or greater than 10.7 gigajoules per hour (3 MW or 10 MMBtu/hr), based on the lower heating value of the fuel fired, which commenced construction, modification, or reconstruction after October 3, 1977.

Compliance information

Compliance Date: Stationary gas turbines which commenced construction, modification or reconstruction after October 3, 1977 and on or before February 18, 2005. Stationary gas turbines which commenced construction, modification, or reconstruction after February 18, 2005, are subject to NSPS Subpart KKKK.
